Emperor has a fantastic range of managed portfolio's in all aspects of the investment space. Whether you are looking for a Tax Free Savings (TFSA), ZAR, USD or Retirement Annuity investment solution, we truly have it all.
With our managed portfolios on EasyEquities, it has never been easier to invest in a algorithmic investment style that aims for absolute returns. We look at how the portfolios have performed in February.
In February, the market performed reasonably well despite the ongoing trade tensions between China and the USA and the persistent problems with SOEs in South Africa and Eskom specifically.
Emperors core portfolios are made up of Exchange Traded Funds (ETF’s) only and the Enhanced portfolios are a mixture of ETF’s and individual shares.
Returns for the month of February:
The flexible equity bundle did well over 4%, outperforming the JSE Top 40 (the benchmark) at 3.57%.
The Core International Bundle (+9.63%) and unit trust (+13.67) compared to MSCI World in ZAR (+8.65). The International Equity Bundle (+4.9%) compared to the MSCI World in USD (+2.83%). You can compare the Income, Conservative, Moderate and Balanced bundles to unit trusts that are similar.
